Led by banjo player and singer/songwriter Shannon Carey, their debut album The Wilder was produced with help from brother Sean Carey of S. Carey & Bon Iver.  Luray takes the banjo beyond bluegrass, and with vibes, pedal steel, and ambient vocals Luray has a truly unique sound called “beautifully lush” by Bob Boilen of NPR.  Luray is currently touring the east coast and midwest, with a second album in the works to be released in 2016.
