Portland based artist, Liyv, started her musical career as a classically trained pianist. She began writing poetry in her early teens and naturally combine the two talents. Her sound has since evolved beyond the keys of a piano, incorporating the influences of pop and electronic music; creating her own genre that she refers to as Pastel Pop; best described as "... songs for sad people who like bright colors."
